I personally, love a good hand cream and even more so in the winter when after a while in the shower you get prune fingers x10 and the cold wind treats your skin a bit rougher than usual. I feel like maybe mousiturising your hands, for some people, is a bit like trying to get yourself to mouisturise your legs after a shower. It's effort. And let's be honest, nobody really wants to put aside the time to do it (unless your unusally obsessed with having baby smooth skin like moi) and this Champneys Harmonious Hands Restoring Hand & Nail Cream has become my new favourite.

For me, that's where this hand cream hits the sweet spot. It's a nice creamy formula, not too thick, I'd say even a little watery prehaps. But it sinks in beautifully and quickly without comprising quality. You don't feel like you've lost out on any of the juicy goodness you expect from a hand cream this is probably due to the glycerin in it which lets you know this stuff is gonna deliver (and lets be real, have you seen the packaging? it's bloody adorable).
It also has the most delightful smell. That being said it is quite heavily fragranced which you might not enjoy but for me its a nice touch. The scent is very fruity as expected from a product made with orange and mandarin but it has a nice calming undertone to it from the chamomile. Plus, with a bunch of vitamins in it this hand cream is exactly what your parched winter hands need. I find the 75ml a decent enough size to fit in your handbag or you could opt for the smaller 40ml if it's more to your liking. And, in the run up to christmas I really think a good quality hand cream would be an ideal gift for the ladies in your life who like to pamper themselves on the regular. Happy holidays everyone!
